The Fernie Mountain Bike Club and the Fernie Trails Alliance together have created and maintain the the Fernie Mountain Bike Trail System, a network of over 60 trails featuring terrain for levels of riders. Access is free but donations are appreciated, maps can be purchased at bike shops in town.
This dirt jump park is adjacent to the Fernie Aquatic Centre and the skateboard park just south of the historic downtown and is a good place to practice BMX and mountain bike skills.
The trail dubbed 'Scary' lives up to its name at the Ridgemont Clearcut. This area is for advanced bikers only. Get a Fernie Trail Map at one of the local businesses in town or at the info centre.
